Natasha Djelaj is the founder of both Meraki Salon & Extensions and Muse Hair Pro. After years behind the chair, she kept running into the same problems — discomfort, failed installs, products that didn't hold up. She didn't work around them. She built something better. The result is the Muse Hidden Bead Method: a patented extension technique developed and tested at Meraki, now taught virtually to licensed cosmetologists across the United States.

Every new technique is developed and tested at Meraki first — then taken to the national Muse Hair Pro curriculum. Our staff educates and certifies stylists nationwide on both the Hidden Bead Method and keratin tip extensions, and every Meraki stylist is trained individually by those same in-house educators. Hidden Bead Method
Hidden Bead Method lay completely flat, move naturally, and deliver seamless volume and length with zero bulk — making this one of the most comfortable, healthy, and non-damaging methods available.
01 We section your hair in a horseshoe pattern, isolating each row for precise, even placement.
02 Individual micro beads are threaded onto your natural hair one by one and clamped into place along the row.
03 Micro wefts are applied underneath the beads and on top — sandwiching the beads completely.
04 The wefts are then stitched onto the beads using our patented Hidden Bead technique, locking them securely while keeping the install undetectable, comfortable, and seamless.
No adhesive, no heat on the bond — ever.

Curly is available by special order and typically takes 2–4 weeks. We'll let you know at your consultation if this is the right fit for you.
Appointment Schedule
- Return every 6–8 weeks as your natural hair grows
- We don't move up the beads — we do a full re-install each visit to re-support the wefts on a solid structure
- Wefts can be re-used up to 9 months with proper care
At-Home Care
- Brush from just below the seams to ends at least twice daily — hold the wefts while brushing
- Sulfate-free, protein-free shampoo and conditioner (we love Davines OI)
- Conditioner on mid-shaft and ends only
- Loose braid or silk scrunchie before bed — never sleep with wet extensions
- Mineral-based sunscreen only — avobenzone turns lighter tones pink or orange

Keratin Tip Extensions
Each strand is applied individually — which means the movement, the blend, and the finish are completely undetectable. If you have finer hair or want extensions that truly disappear into your own, this is your method.
01 We pre-soften the keratin bonds on the extension strands using a heat tool, making them pliable and ready to shape.
02 The softened keratin is molded around the client's natural hair and rolled between the fingers using our signature rolling technique, shaping each bond into a tiny, smooth, rice-shaped attachment that lays flat and stays secure.
03 Once the bond is cured, it is discreet and moves completely naturally with your hair.
Bonds are removed with keratin bond remover and pliers — completely safe for your natural hair when done correctly.

- Brush gently from ends up with a soft boar bristle brush, holding near the bond — twice daily

- Keep conditioner and oils away from the bond — they break down the keratin
- Keep heat tools away from the bond itself

- Mineral-based sunscreen only — avobenzone turns lighter tones pink or orange
